Green electricity

Power the future of your business with green electricity

When you choose green electricity from Bullfrog Power, we ensure that renewable energy from wind, solar, and low-impact hydro sources is put onto the grid on your behalf. This flexible, turnkey solution helps you meet your sustainability goals and show your community that you’re making a positive environmental impact.

Feature Green energy Wind Turbine, Wind Energy Concept.

Since 2005, we’ve put more than 5 million megawatt-hours of green electricity onto the grid on behalf of our customers.

How green electricity works

We match the electricity our customers use with renewable energy certificates (RECs). RECs are the global standard for tracking how much renewable electricity is put on the grid, and one REC represents the environmental and social benefits of one megawatt-hour of renewable electricity.

By purchasing RECs, you shrink your carbon footprint, support renewable energy generators, and create demand for even more green power.

Shine a light on local renewables

In addition to greening Canada’s energy grid, bullfrogpowered customers also help fund community-based green energy projects from coast to coast. These projects help schools, nonprofits, Indigenous communities, and more reduce their reliance on fossil fuels. They also educate and inspire communities that might not otherwise be able to access renewable energy.
