A little-known fact about bullfrogs: they need a steady and constant supply of coffee to ensure they don’t lose their hop. Oh wait, that’s Bullfrogs—as in Bullfrog Power’s staff!

We here at Bullfrog are happy to introduce a great coffee company to the bullfrogpowered community—Muskoka Roastery Coffee Co.! Muskoka Roastery is now proudly choosing 100% green electricity and 100% green natural gas for their roastery and showroom in Huntsville, Ontario.

If you aren’t already familiar with Muskoka Roastery, here are the top three things you need to know:

  1. The outdoors gets them howling: All handcrafted blends are inspired by, and named for, the beautiful Muskoka region—including Howling Wolf, which captures the untamed spirit and natural beauty of the region, and Black Bear, which boasts a bold, well-oiled taste with a growl.
  2. Sustainability is their middle name: Okay, not literally, but they were the first roaster in Canada to source green beans exclusively from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms and are proud to introduce a 100% compostable coffee pod made using PῧrPod100™ technology. This Canadian innovation is the first coffee pod to earn certification from the Biodegradable Products Institute.
  3. Their Canadian roots are as deep as a Muskoka pine’s: The founder’s family arrived in Muskoka in 1862 and the company donates 1% of annual sales to environmental organizations like the Muskoka Conservancy, and to those in need through Food Banks Canada.

Welcome, Muskoka Roastery, to the bullfrogpowered community. Hop hop hooray!
