Worldwide wind continues to surge

The global wind turbine market is continuing to set records for capacity growth, according to market reports from the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC). Both reports cited a 21 to 22 per cent increase in worldwide wind capacity over the previous year—the WWEA’s report highlighted strong growth from Canada. As always, Bullfrog is of the view that these turbines should be appropriately sited to limit their environmental impact.
