10 tips for a greener holiday season

If you're going to give a gift this holiday season, consider the following options:
1.	Save energy by using LED holiday lights.
2.	Send e-cards or buy holiday cards that are printed on FSC-certified papers.
3.	Donate to a not-for-profit environmental organization (such as WWF Canada or The Pembina Institute) on someone else’s behalf.
4.	Give non-material gifts like time volunteered for a good cause or gift certificates for favours, such as helping someone around the house or taking them out for an evening.
