OLG’s Bet on Green program is designed to reduce the environmental impact of its operations and to increase green awareness among customers and employees. Through Bet on Green, OLG aims to:

• reduce its overall paper use by 80% within the next five years;
• educate customers and employees about living green; and
• become a global leader in energy-efficient gaming.

Each OLG site has a Bet on Green employee committee for implementing green initiatives such as recycling programs and promoting environmental awareness.

In February of 2010, OLG expanded its support of renewable energy to include 5 new locations - Casino Sault Ste. Marie and the OLG Slots at Georgian Downs, Mohawk Racetrack, Hanover Raceway and Clinton Raceway are now bullfrogpowered with 100% clean, green power. OLG’s Brantford Casino and IT Data Systems are also bullfrogpowered.
