Bullfrogpowered resident Colin Chappell of Oakville, Ontario recently sent in a photo of his energy efficient home, along with a summary of its extensive history:

Colin Chappell's energy efficient home"We live in a 1920s structure which had no insulation at the time of purchase. All the inside walls were removed and insulation installed; a late 1980s vintage furnace was replaced with a mid-efficiency unit; and almost all our lamps are now compact fluorescent bulbs.

"We also have a couple of rain barrels which has taken care of our outdoor hangers and garden shrubs. In the summer we use an outside clothes drying rack when possible. Then of course we have Bullfrog Power!"
