Kanata Research Park (KRP), Ottawa region’s largest commercial office park, has recently signed on to bullfrogpower the general common areas of nine of its buildings.

In October, Lowe-Martin Group celebrated its 100th anniversary. The event's keynote speaker was Mike Pedersen, Group Head of Corporate Operations at TD Bank Financial Group (pictured at left, with Patrick Coyne, Director of Marketing and Sales at Lowe-Martin).

National poll says Canadians prefer wind energy over all other sources
The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA), in association with The Strategic Council, released the results of its Wind Power Survey during its 24th Annual Conference and Trade Show in Vancouver. The national survey shows Canadians strongly support the development of renewable energy sources, and their first choice for energy is wind energy.
Conference Board releases greenhouse gas emissions report
In a greenhouse gas emissions report released by the Conference Board of Canada, Canada ranks second-to-last out of 17 countries for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions per capita.

Young Reporters for the Environment is a worldwide network of student journalists who write and photograph the community around them. Students can submit their photos or stories to Environmental Defence, which runs the campaign in Canada. Young reporters can even submit their work for an international award.

The Global Visions Film Festival (GVFF) is going green for the second time with Bullfrog Power. It is an annual, one-of-a-kind Edmonton-based festival celebrating the work of passionate, accomplished documentarians from Canada and around the world.
