The Alberta bullfrogpowered Green Index
More than 50 organizations were included on the first Alberta bullfrogpowered Green Index, which was published in the Calgary Herald and the Edmonton Journal on December 5, 2007. Alberta businesses are demonstrating that they are willing to put their electricity dollars toward clean, renewable power.

On December 13, 2007, WWF launched Earth Hour 2008, a global initiative asking cities and communities to turn off their lights for one hour on March 29, 2008, to symbolize their leadership and commitment to finding solutions for climate change.

Through initiatives such as the creation of an idle-free zone, the use of FSC paper and the purchase of green power, Lakeside Logistics is reducing its impact on the environment.
Living the three Rs at the Wee Book Inn
In addition to bullfrogpowering four stores, Alberta’s Wee Book Inn reduces waste, reuses materials and recycles books to lessen its environmental footprint. The bookstore offers used books to customers in Calgary and Edmonton.
Women’s Health Matters Forum and Expo – Women’s College Hospital
Over 40 interactive presentations on hot issues in women’s health will be given by medical professionals and practitioners, and 200 exhibits will display health-related services, organizations and products.
