Thanks to the demand of Bullfrog Power customers, Bullfrog Power and Sky Generation have erected two new 1.65 megawatt wind turbines on the Bruce Peninsula, bringing the total maximum capacity of the Ferndale Wind Farm to over 5 megawatts.

Later this month, Bullfrog Power will launch mybullfrog. Mybullfrog will allow you to access your billing statements online, edit your personal information, view your historical usage patterns and emission reductions, and access exclusive offers for bullfrogpowered residences. On October 23, 2006, four hundred members of the bullfrog community gathered in “eco chic” attire at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto to celebrate a year of great milestones. The party included special appearances by Mike Russill, president and CEO of WWF-Canada and Peter Love, Ontario’s Chief Conservation Officer.

Toronto, December 4, 2006 – Bullfrog Power, Ontario’s first 100 per cent green electricity retailer, today announced that Quadrangle Architects Limited, an award-winning architectural design firm, has joined the growing list of Ontario businesses and organizations that have become bullfrogpowered.

Human activity is having a huge impact on the world’s climate. WWF-Canada has created an interactive website designed to educate people about climate change and inspire them to take personal action.

Manufactured Landscapes, a film directed and produced by bullfrogpowered customers Jennifer Baichwal and Nick de Pencier, documents the work of photographer Edward Burtynsky (another bullfrogpowered customer) as he photographs China's massive industrial revolution. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September and was recently selected to appear in the Sundance Film Festival's 2007 lineup.
