Green Power sourced from EcoLogoM-certified facilities only
All of Bullfrog Power’s electricity is sourced exclusively from green power generators that meet or exceed the Canadian federal government’s EcoLogo standard for renewable energy. EcoLogo is Canada's most widely recognized and respected multi-attribute environmental certification mark and is Environment Canada’s certification standard for environmental products. To achieve EcoLogo certification, these certified generators must meet rigorous environmental criteria. To learn more about EcoLogo please visit: www.environmentalchoice.com. |

Annual Green Power Audit
Bullfrog Power publishes an annual Green Power audit conducted by Deloitte, which is designed to verify several management policies including that:
- We have duly retired on behalf of our customers all of the emissions credits related to our customers’ contracts thereby preventing “double counting” of the environmental benefits;
- We have secured sufficient inventory from EcoLogo-certified generators to fulfill our contracted commitments to customers.
Emissions Calculator and Methodology
Bullfrog Power publishes its Emissions Calculator and methodology, ensuring that our customers are equipped with high-integrity, fully defensible statements about the amount of carbon dioxide, nitric oxide and sulphur dioxide displaced by the green power produced on their behalf.
Partnerships with leading environmental and health groups
Bullfrog Power has formed partnerships with several leading environmental and health groups including WWF-Canada, the Pembina Institute, Pollution Probe and the Asthma Society of Canada. |
