bullfrogpowered community recognized
with four achievement awards!
2011 has been an exciting year for the bullfrogpowered community as we have received achievement awards from several important organizations for our work on advancing clean, renewable energy in Canada.
Through these awards, bullfrogpowered homes and businesses are being recognized for the impact they are having in the country. By taking personal action on climate change and air pollution—and championing green energy across Canada—our customers are helping to create a cleaner energy future. Each and every one of them is a green energy hero within their community—and for that we say thank you!

During a ceremony at the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) Bell Lightbox, Green Living announced the recipients of its inaugural Excellence in Corporate Responsibility Awards. Green Living's goal is "to honour and celebrate corporate Canadians for outstanding work and dedication in creating sustainable and ethical practices within a business framework." Clean16 and Clean50 Awards—Delta Management Group/Corporate Knights
As a representative of Bullfrog customers, Bullfrog President Tom Heintzman was named one of Canada's Clean50 and Clean16, awards established as a partnership between Delta Management Group and the corporate social responsibility organization, Corporate Knights. The Clean50 award recognizes individuals or small teams who have made the greatest impact on Canada's long-term sustainability and have contributed to clean business in the country. As a further honour, Heintzman was named one of Canada's Clean16, a distinction given to the leaders among the Clean50 who have made the biggest difference over the past few years.
Small Company of the Year—Ontario Energy Association As part of the Ontario Energy Association's (OEA) Achievement Awards, Bullfrog Power was named OEA's Small Company of the Year. The award, established this year to recognize the increasing and transformative role small companies are playing in Ontario's energy sector, recognizes a company with 100 or fewer employees that has excelled in areas such as conservation and energy efficiency, customer service, market strategy and brand reputation. Bullfrog Power was recognized for launching the first green natural gas product to be widely available to homes and businesses across Canada. |
