Ascenta Health Ltd. signs on for 100 per cent renewable electricity with Bullfrog Power^®

Health product company adds green power to sustainability plan

Halifax, October 25, 2011 — Ascenta Health Ltd., a leading developer of natural health products, has expanded its sustainability commitment to include 100 per cent renewable electricity with Bullfrog Power, Canada's 100 per cent green energy provider. Through the agreement, Ascenta will bullfrogpower^® its operations in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia—a move that complements its many environmentally responsible business practices. The decision will enable Ascenta to further reduce its emissions footprint, support the development of renewable energy in Canada, and help create a cleaner world for today and tomorrow.

Bullfrog Power's goal is to advance the development of wind power throughout the Maritimes.

In addition to supporting 100 per cent renewable electricity, Ascenta is committed to greening all components of its business.
